The Great Hall
With oak panelled walls and a beautiful high ceiling the Great Hall is an impressive and elegant room in which to enjoy your celebrations. The Great Hall can seat up to 72 people. It is a versatile space so a variety of table layouts are possible to accommodate everyone comfortably. For larger numbers, the adjacent Salisbury Room can be used for an additional 60 people.
We can work with you to design a table plan to accommodate all your guests, and we will support your caterer to ensure that the room is set out exactly as you require.
Salisbury Room
The Salisbury Room is a light airy room with huge windows and gorgeous views across the Wiltshire countryside. Up to 60 people can be accommodated on a range of table layouts. If you are having a buffet, this room works well for buffet tables with the dining in the Great Hall. It is also a great space for an evening buffet if required.
The Library
The Library is a beautiful and elegant space provides a lounge area where guests can relax with a drink throughout the day.
The Cleeve House Bar & Tea Room
A fully licensed bar, with bar staff included with hire, well stocked bar with flexibility to ask management to order in any particular favourite drinks for your event to add that personal touch. Space to sit and share, watch the sport on the TV if needed, piano for live music.
You can benefit from a flexible space with lots of light that combines the mid 19th century architecture with a bright and modern 1950s style furniture designers seating arrangement.We can work with you to design a table plan to accommodate all your guests, and we will support your caterer to ensure that the room is set out exactly as you require.

As well as the Bridal Suite, a range of doubles, twins and family rooms provide comfortable overnight accommodation for between 24 – 35 people depending on the use of additional optional futons available on request.

Our great hall can seat 72 people around 9 tables, and the ground floor can accommodate up to 120 people. For larger gatherings, our outdoor space and optional marquee can hold an additional 200 people. We also offer separate rooms for a bar and disco.
Can Cleeve House accommodate party dinners?
We have all the tables and chairs needed for party dinners, along with staff who can prepare your meals. Alternatively, our kitchen facilities are open for use by outside caterers, and we are happy to discuss your specific needs further. We also have several recommendations for local caterers who are familiar with our facilities.

We aim to make your party as productive and enjoyable as possible, which includes your choice of activities and entertainment. We do ask that any live music or entertainment adhere to local noise regulations. However, we’re here to support your retreat in every way we can.
What are the options for getting to Cleeve House? Does it have parking facilities?
Cleeve House is conveniently located in the heart of Wiltshire and is easily accessible by car with on-site parking for up to 70 cars.
If your guests are travelling via public transport, the nearest train stations are Melksham and Trowbridge, which are 10 or 15 minutes away by taxi. Trowbridge station normally has taxis available but for Melksham you will need to book a taxi in advance. The 49 bus from Devizes to Trowbridge stops nearby every hour until 19:17 in Seend, the village where Cleeve House is located.
