The Great Hall
With oak panelled walls and a beautiful high ceiling the Great Hall is an impressive and elegant room in which to enjoy your celebrations. The Great Hall can seat up to 72 people. It is a versatile space so a variety of table layouts are possible to accommodate everyone comfortably. For larger numbers, the adjacent Salisbury Room can be used for an additional 60 people.
We can work with you to design a table plan to accommodate all your guests, and we will support your caterer to ensure that the room is set out exactly as you require.
Salisbury Room
The Salisbury Room is a light airy room with huge windows and gorgeous views across the Wiltshire countryside. Up to 60 people can be accommodated on a range of table layouts. If you are having a buffet, this room works well for buffet tables with the dining in the Great Hall. It is also a great space for an evening buffet if required.
The Library
The Library is a beautiful and elegant space provides a lounge area where guests can relax with a drink throughout the day.
The Cleeve House Bar & Tea Room
A fully licensed bar, with bar staff included with hire, well stocked bar with flexibility to ask management to order in any particular favourite drinks for your event to add that personal touch. Space to sit and share, watch the sport on the TV if needed, piano for live music.
You can benefit from a flexible space with lots of light that combines the mid 19th century architecture with a bright and modern 1950s style furniture designers seating arrangement.We can work with you to design a table plan to accommodate all your guests, and we will support your caterer to ensure that the room is set out exactly as you require.

As well as the Bridal Suite, a range of doubles, twins and family rooms provide comfortable overnight accommodation for between 24 – 35 people depending on the use of additional optional futons available on request.

How many guests can Cleeve House accommodate for a wedding?
Cleeve House can comfortably accommodate 100 for the ceremony indoors with more capacity outdoors. For the Wedding Breakfast 120 can be seated indoors with up to 150 for dancing and evening buffet. Please contact us directly to discuss your specific needs.
Can we have our wedding ceremony and reception at the venue?
Absolutely! Cleeve House is fully equipped to host both your wedding ceremony and reception.
Do you offer wedding planning services?
Whilst we don’t currently have a dedicated wedding planner, we have a team that will assist your venue needs and we can provide a detailed list of recommendations for anything from décor to catering to take care of all the details.
Do you have on-site accommodations?
Yes, we offer on-site bedroom accommodation for you and up to 24 guests. As well as the beautiful Bridal Suite, we have a range of beautifully appointed double, twin and family rooms, providing a comfortable stay and a full cooked breakfast in the morning.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Our kitchen facilities are completely open to be used by outside caterers and we are happy to discuss your specific needs further.
Are there any restrictions on music or entertainment?
We want your day to be perfect and that includes your choice of music and entertainment. We do have partnerships with wedding DJs, please feel free to ask if you’re looking for one. We do ask that any live music or DJs adhere to local noise regulations, though we are here to support your special day.
